John Ladley
John Ladley is one of the leading pioneers in the field of Data Governance and Enterprise Information Management. He has over 30 years of coal-face experience dealing with the people and challenges of putting data to work. John’s books are the authoritative sources for Data and Information Management and Data Governance. As data becomes woven into the fabric of our existence, John believes we all need to accept a reality where fundamental organization structures, policies and process will change. Society itself needs to change. This is an anthropological issue. The economic doctrines of Land, Labor and Capital now have a new friend: Data. We are ill equipped for this new age.
Mark Cooper
Dr. Mark Cooper has more than thirty years of experience in data and analytics. He served as Enterprise Architect and later Technical Director responsible for Enterprise Data Architecture and Analytics at FedEx. He then founded The Data Brains, a consultancy built on the belief that a company's most valuable asset is its understanding of its data. The present challenges in the data and analytics field are primarily cultural, not technological, with data discipline emerging as a competitive differentiator. Mark's Ph.D. dissertation focus was Artificial Intelligence, and he is particularly excited about the recent developments in the field.
